Ozcare products are manufactured by Tatura, which is the largest Australian owned manufacturer of infant formula, with over 100 years of experience.
Tatura was established in 1907, it is the partner behind the most trusted and premium dairy powder and cream cheese brands across Australasia. Many of Tatura’s partners are leading international Infant Formula brands.
Tatura uses state of the art manufacturing facilities in Northern Victoria. It’s been purpose built to package retail nutritional dairy powder products for Tatura’s customers in Australia and around the world.
Ozcare Infant Formula is manufactured using the latest technologies, which includes wet mix blending and spray drying. With 4 dryers of progressive size on site, Tatura Milk is able to economically build supply of spray dry products as business and markets grow.
Location
Tatura is located in the Goulbourn Valley in Northern Victoria, which is one of the world’s best places to produce natural wholesome foods. The Goulbourn Valley is known for its temperate climate, rich soil types and an abundant supply of clean water and well established irrigation systems, which is ideal for year round grazing for the regions 400 thousands dairy cows.
Ozcare manufacture has approximately 330 suppliers of quality milk. This vast majority of these suppliers are located within an 80 kilometre radius of the factory.
Quality
Ozcare products passed the world’s most stringent review of Australian dairy standards, in strict accordance with the requirements of the Australian and New Zealand Food Standards Code. Tatura has achieved an A grade BRC (British Retail Consortium) global food and safety accreditation, which is one of the world’s most difficult accreditations to maintain.
The Australian dairy industry has a reputation for the highest quality standards, superb quality products and innovative production techniques. Victoria’s quality assurance practices are the toughest in the world. Governed by the Dairy Food Safety Victoria, dairy farms and processors are required to adopt international certified quality management systems. Victoria dairy farmers regularly conduct stringent quality testing and the monitoring of animal health.
